How to download your photos from Pixieset
Pixieset is my go-to gallery for my clients. Not only is it relatively easy for me to upload the images but out of the online galleries I have tried so far, I find it to be the most aesthetically pleasing. Now I will admit that it originally took me a little while to figure out where the download button was, how I download only my favourites and how to even pick my favourites, but once I did it all came together nicely. Since I have had a couple of my clients ask about how to download the files from the Pixieset gallery I figured that I should make a little post to help you guys out. I hope it’s useful!.
So the first step is to OPEN your gallery. HOORAY PHOTOS!!
Ok. So you are in the gallery, you see your photos and now you want to share them, print them, love them.. just get them on your computer! What you need to do is use the little arrow pointing down icon as seen in the below screenshot to download the files. If you want to PRINT these, please select high-res or original for the best quality. If you are sharing on Instagram or emailing your cousin in China then the web version will be perfect. If you want to download just one image or a couple of your faves then you can do that too and if you scroll down just a tiny bit I will explain how to make a favourites list.
When you open your gallery on a computer you will see some kind of header with your images below depending on the design of your gallery. Example below.
Right under this are some icons. I drew a green circle around them so you can see. The heart is for favourites, the arrow point down means DOWNLOAD and Share is, well for sharing. =)
Now if you want to make a favourites list for fun or if you’re interested in downloading just a couple of the photos from your gallery then here is what you will need to do.
If you hover over an image , you can click on the heart to save it to your favourites list. I hope you like the fancy arrow. At this point you will be asked to enter your email which will be used to save your favourites! Now you can create a list of faves and if you go back and click the download arrow as I showed you above you will have the option to download the whole gallery or the favourites you have selected.
Ps I have no idea how to do this on mobile/cell phones and I am not entirely sure if you even can! Hope this helps you guys!
