St Mary’s Golf Club Wedding
It’s been awhile since I photographed Sean and Alicia’s beautiful wedding at St Mary’s Golf Club and I have been dying to get it on the blog…so today is the day! I absolutely loved everything about this wedding from the love between our beautiful couple, the friendliness of their family and friends, their gorgeous attire and the amazing venue! The details were stunning and the grounds at this venue are unreal. So today I am going to share the highlights from their wonderful fall wedding day in St Mary’s! Here is a blurb from our lovely bride.
“Sean and I went away for a weekend to Arrowhead Provincial Park. We spent our days cross country skiing, skating, dog sledding and enjoying great food. On Saturday February 21st, 2015 we went skating on the beautiful outdoor wooded skating trail, we sat down by the fire after a few laps then decided to go for a walk to a snow covered bridge we saw on our way into the park.
After spending some time on the bridge and chatting about how the last year together had gone, Sean got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. I was so excited and so surprised that this had just happened because moments before I had almost said to Sean “this would be the perfect place to get engaged”.
After we sat and took in the moment and laughed and cried together, we walked back to the skating trail and tied up our skates and skated around the trail that was now lit up by tikki torches. It felt like I was in a fairy tale, the snow was falling perfectly and Sean and I were just taking everything in.” – Alicia
Ok, there are more I want to share but I am trying to limit myself. This wedding, so much swoon! We walked to a nearby trail with the girls before the ceremony to take a few shots with them.
Then we headed back to St Mary’s Golf Club for their beautiful and love filled ceremony.
After their beautiful wedding ceremony we took family portraits and hung out with the bridal party a bit before creating some more images with our newlyweds.
This one is a particular favourite of mine because sure.. we all love beautiful moments, but hilarious ones can be just as good. 😉
We went for a golf cart ride as the sun was setting. It was starting to get chilly but we took the time for a few photos in that golden light anyways.
Then it was time for the party! So I will share a couple of images from the rest of the night before I end this post. Thanks for stopping by to check out this St Mary’s wedding!
