Wow. I am so excited to share this wedding today .. I mean really, REALLY excited. Some of you may remember Ashleigh and Chris from their engagement session at Belcroft Estates in the fall. It was my first time up there and right then my mind was going insane with all kinds of photography plans. So spring forward to a beautiful day at the end of May and it was wedding day. My assistant and I left from Muskoka where we were cottaging for the weekend and drove down to the Innisfil area for the wedding. We started in the bridal suite which was absolutely perfect for taking photographs. I mean the light was literally insane and add to it a pile of girls full of joy and happiness and you have a recipe for getting ready photo awesomeness. ( Yup, I just said that! ) The “Man Cave” is located directly beside the bridal suite at Belcroft which was so incredibly convenient. The guys were playing pool, hanging out and getting ready and boy did everyone look SHARP as ever. The ceremony itself took place in Toronto and it was absolutely beautiful. I loved watching them laugh and smile and see how happy their friends and family were as they watched. After that it was back to Belcroft for some family portraits, wedding party and some time alone with the bride and groom. An incredible reception followed there at Belcroft Estates and it was absolutely wonderful. Tears, laughter, childhood stories, incredible desserts and a couple of Irish and Italian jokes thrown in. What an amazing experience. Thanks again so much you guys! So here are the highlights from their May 23rd wedding!
I absolutely loved the vibrant flowers!
Fun fact: Bride made those precious flower girl dresses! I love how her bridesmaids all wore a unique dress and they were equally gorgeous.
Ashleigh’s wedding gown was out of this world stunning.
And we were off to the wedding ceremony in Toronto!
I absolutely love the joy that was radiating on everyones face at the wedding!
And so it was official! We headed back to Belcroft in Innisfil.
Those sweet little angels and one handsome little Irishman!
Some of the wedding details.
It was roaring cheers when the bride and groom entered and the groom was carrying an old hocky trophy. Pretty awesome if you ask me.
I loved the evening light pouring in to the head table.
Look at these beautiful vibrant cupcakes!
There are literally hundreds more I want to share but I think I’ve already over done it. I hope this post has shared most of the story and given you a little glimpse into their incredible wedding. Thanks for stopping by!
